To summon is when somebody has scents of crimes you commited and summons you at your heart fire. So if someody of your group 'stole back' that still would have left a scent of theft. He used it to come back and kill people in retaliation for your retaliation. So it would seem from what's been said in this thread. Thats what happened.

Isn't the wild life in the hearthlands grand?

You're mistake is thinking of things in absolute polarity. Generalizing 'better' when you should be looking for the factors that create the community you observe. Playing H&H is kind of like being a lumberjack or a professional cook. You work around lots of dangerous equipment on a daily basis and if someone who lacks a sense of humor takes any random thing the wrong way does some retarded shit...well...lets just say we use vulgar humor on a regular basis to keep each other in check and weed out those who don't get it so that retarded shit doesn't happen.

It's harsh. It's that way by design. And no one really gives a shit how much of a snobbish brat you are.

Surprised one of the other /v/illages got anywhere. I've logged on almost every time I see a thread for one and it's usually just 50+ hearthfires sitting in one spot, no one in the village strong enough to break them, 'leaders' telling people to go cut trees 'we can always plant more'. Until they realize they have to build houses and left nothing for a whole localmap to do so with.
