OP, if you are still looking for a village to be a part of, I am the chieftain of a well established village that you would be welcome to join (I'd have to make sure with my LS, but you seem like a hard-working player, so I'm sure he'll agree). PM me for details, and we'll see if we can work something out.

I'm just someone that was a 3rd party witness but here is what I know of so far:

A lot of the influence on the OP of thinking Gromit was a thief was due to the constant words from the IRC people egging Drucian on that Gromit pulled a thief stunt on him and we know how some of IRC can be at times. Another factor is Lexard saying Drucian quitted so Gromit may have taken the items so they will not be wasted due to an inactive player. Now I do not know why Lexard said this and I will not theorycraft since I don't want this shit blow more out of proportion as it is. However, it may be possible that neither side is at fault and needs to contact each other to be clear of what happened.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

We did make contact, over IRC Private Chat. The first thing i heard from someone when i entered IRC was when i said "Drucian" reefer saying "This should be good" and then i directed it to a private chat. I broke off the private chat after so-so 10 minutes perhaps? after he started getting really angry and emotional.

"Drucian, As i said in the chat we had over IRC private, I took the stuff that i created and traded for, that is why i took what i did. Lexard II came online and told me that you quit, so i started looking for a new place to join as the farm was to big for me to manage. I am certainly not a thief, nor should you put it out into the public when this was a private matter between you and me. Q60 Sling, which i traded for aswell as the cavebulbs that i traded for copper. As we had access to a copper mine, and you were not online most the time i was i decided to trade with our neighbours for items which i thought were useful to me."

Lexard II had never told you that I had quit, nor has he gotten on since he had moved out of our settlement. I had spoken to him.

Therefore no word of me quitting was said to you. You took much more than what you had created and traded for, which I had listed earlier. I will list them again: Frying Pan, Pickaxe, Smithy's Hammer, Metal Plow, Scythe, Cavebulbs, and some other things. These things had existed before you had lived with me, therefore they were not obtained by you in any way whatsoever. If you want to drag this out any further, I can ask those who had traded me some of these items as well as Lexard to come and post on here to confirm.

I made this a public matter because you had decided to lie directly in my face in private chat about what I knew was absolutely true and would not let you manipulate me.

If you truly insisted on trading some of these items, which ones of our neighbors did you trade to? What did you trade and what for? I will ask them personally to come post on here to confirm that they did indeed trade this and got this. I know all of our neighbors and will not hesitate to ask them and confirm.

"i put a claim down and you also left a scent which they traced back, and stole a bunch of our bricks. Also, i did not block you on MSN. My MSN fucked up and deleted all my contacts, and since i didnt have a backup file like word with my contact names i could not contact you to ask if you actually quit the game. That is why i packed up my stuff and started looking for a new settlement to join and start again, with people who actually help me and are online when i am."

That scent was left by an accident of which I had explained to the people over there and they perfectly understood and had let it go, only one person was not informed and he came and took some bricks which he had warped with once I saw him. However after contacting the leader, the leader had explained to him what he had missed and he actually BROUGHT them back and apologized. I was always almost on when you were, usually on before you even got on because you go to school then we'd be on together for at least 3-5 hours after that. I have always helped you the entire time since you joined the game, so don't even deny that.

"Q60 Sling, which i traded for aswell as the cavebulbs that i traded for copper. As we had access to a copper mine, and you were not online most the time i was i decided to trade with our neighbours for items which i thought were useful to me."

The Q60 sling was made by ME using leather straps from a bear I had hunted. The cavebulbs I found in caves were never traded to anyone for they were there that night before you left since I had seen them. You did not even get access to the mine until a couple of days before you left.

You could have asked Lexard II for my contact information if you claim that he had gotten on and told you this or tried to contact me through forums to confirm. The PM from the forums, I sent you on the very same day this had happened- not a few days after. How is my writing supposed to convince anyone or sway them? It's called grammar, I use it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways! To those others... Thanks. Dataslycer, I was not even gone for 24 hours when this happened. I was on the very night before this happened. Went to sleep since server had crashed that night then came back on later the day I had woken up. Everything was gone, including Kurono. Again, Lexard had never said I had quit as well. Just so you know.

Still interested in joining a well establish location, I will be getting in touch with those who will/had offered. Thanks again!

Well, I've always had a way of seeing through lies, and I can say that "Gromit's" excuse sounds like a steaming carpload of bullshit, just kill him if you see him and take back your stuff, then take better care of it and spend your trust more wisly.

The only thing you can do is have someone from The Lost Caverns search for him. If they find him they can search his belongings. If they find any incriminating evidence (your missing items) then we'll know your story holds true, not that you would lie about the whole ordeal.

Sorry but gohan (I heard you look like soulja boy?) could also be lying here.

It's very easy to create drama with he said she said when you're the more trusted person in a relationship.

It's also very fun

It's fun to see so many people not knowing what really happened (as even the people involved don't seem to) offer assistance killing Gromit.

I don't care of Gromit ends up being killed or not, but it won't be by me. Although it'd be nice if he was, but this isn't the point of my post. I am just getting word out to warn those around him to watch out and don't let this happen to them as well.

I'm moving on. Take what you believe or don't. Just keep an eye on him if you live near him or are friends with him, that's all.

But thank you to those who offered help, I appreciate it.
