Most of it is deflect instead of absorb, which means that the second hit also has just as hard a time getting through...

Rye130, that sucks man, you're a really cool hearthling. If you know the location/direction from NCH I'll send a Ranger down to collect scents. We don't have any palisade killers...yet.

If you quit, I'll hopefully see you next world. If not and you want to join us with your new character I'll happily PM you a village HS so you don't have to start from scratch.

As far as bows go, if not already instituted, some damage should be mitigated if you are behind walls. You would need to arch a bow shot over the wall and therefore lose some armor piercing punch.

can someone explain this to me?

q90 dragon helm = 180/90
q110 Bronze = 331/331
q90 vap = 30/30
q40 leather leggings = 50/50
q40 leather boots = 0 /40

i think thats right.

591/541

maybe i dont understand damage but shouldn't that block 591+541 = 1132 damage. ? it should not have been possible for him to die in one hit. i think my understanding of deflect and absorb must be flawed

perhaps one of you understand better?

Some further points I'd like to point out here.

I think the guy isn't all the skilled, just got a good bow somehow. The time inbetween the first a second shot seemed like 30 ish seconds, which means had I been moving for the first shot I wouldn't have gotten hit.

He was wearing hardened leather armor, not bronze.

Had I fought that guy melee, it woulda been a different story :P

It might be that he's just a kill alt though, cause all he'd need since he has a good rangers bow is like 100 marksmanship and murder. I was an easy target.

My ranger's bow does around 1300 base
and i'm going full martial atm, that adds
up to a oneshot if i've ever seen one.

perhaps my damage calculation for figuring out a ranger bow is what is flawed here.

Is it a realistic quality for one of the none-pro players? I assume if it was like klaue, you, or any of the big name players they would have just admitted to it already haha
