I think that you shouldn't be able to break palisades by hand either (or it should take a lot more effort), but yeah the siege mechanics will greatly need to be improved if this was to happen; especially since there is no decay now either. Either make rams more useful or add other options... although with the walljumping there is always that I guess.

I'd much rather have to worry about rams than wall jumpers, the latter just feels wrong.

What we need is more diverse types of seige machinry and then we should remove the ability to punch down walls.

Big factions have brickbashers already...
Its not a problem... main problem is make him safe that 10min he will be breaking wall :)
In example - ranger squad with 140q bows in quantity 5 at least, who will jump behind wall will kill him in few seconds. So you need a team, not only a basher. You need melee tanks to protect rangers, who will protect brickbasher :)

People who have them don't be going and hit bricks of noob villages for fun, and griefers cannot reach so high to have one. So I see mechanics of this game in this part of game perfect. And world can sleep well :)
