We never made threats.

The story:

-I find theft scents
-Perpetrator online, has hearth
-I track them to know the general area
-Along the way, hearth fire gone
-I finally find where the scents lead, and they point into Emberwood
-They point West from the East boundary, North from the South boundary, East from the West boundary, South from the North boundary
-This, obviously, leads me to believe that the thief lives in Emberwood, or is at least there temporarily (most likely lives there, considering he was there when he destroyed his hearth)
-Rather than waiting until he logs off and summoning him for a late-night kill, I decide to let Ravian know
-But since Ravian has seemed rather irritable lately and I don't know how he'll react, I wait and tell Nvo, knowing the news will get to Ravian immediately
-I find out that Ravian is infuriated - with us
-I have no idea what's going on in the conversation because it's a PM between Ravian and Nvo
-Nvo says we give Ravian the scents next day
-I wait to give Ravian the scent that I have, which will easily prove who's right/wrong
-I log in today
-My character is dead
-Pretty much up-to-date there

I don't see how I deserved to be killed for this one.
