I rerolled a character, spawned in the wilderness with a friend, walked for several minutes and then decided on a spot to place our settlement. We build our houses, we claim our land, we start building our palisade. We go exploring and what do you know, a few seconds later we stumble upon Sodom.

We really had no idea we were in the central grid. D:
I have yet to meet someone from Sodom, though. I guess it's a matter of time zones and all.

To the dumb fucks that call themselves "The Ranger Squad" or some shit: You stole from villages in the central grid, you were warned. Today we killed one of you and destroyed your pathetic little settlement.

We have scents for the rest of you: Piss off out of this grid, you have 24 hours.

Yea !!! Whoopy !!!! can each Super grid get a Superman too, maybe one for the Russians?, The Ukrainians?, The Chinese?

Hey, can you guys maybe claim all the super grids please, we all so desperately need your help from.....oh wait.....sorry, forgive me my Lord and Masters, I beg your forgiveness, oh what tribute do you require of me?

*bowing gracefully whilst flipping you off behind my back*

Seriously though, are any other Villages claiming grids now rather than just villages?

Naw, I like the idea of claiming grids, isn't that how territorial wars start? The combat system is in here for a reason, and it would be pretty boring with no conflicts. Obviously you can't ascertain sarcasm from something serious.

If you had spent your time actually reading the forum, you would indeed have noticed that Sodom is not the only, and also not the first village to claim a supergrid.

Any kind of advice we could get? I'd love to find out I'm in your center of protection, once we build our camp into a village. =D

Don't forget those two:

The declarations this map are pretty civilized compared to klaue and pumpkin.

Your best bet probably is to actually travel to Nople if you know where it is. You might want to have a crossroad sign anyway for your upcoming village. Just pm me or juhubert about it.

@ JohnSmith: I direct this at you specifically beacuse of the fuss you kicked up about our attempt at diplomatic relations with Russian speaking hearthlings and hope that this may somewhat sway your negative perception about our intent.

My earlier post promising to exact revenge on the balance of the members of "The Ranger Squad" is on behalf of new Russian trade partners that were established as a direct result of our call to diplomacy thread. They were robbed by The Ranger Squad of the cast iron that they traded from us for a heap of bricks they worked very hard at making, so that they may obtain metal.

Fyi, we don't really need bricks, but trade metal for it so that all noobs have a chance at getting their hands on metal. Furthermore, we did not charge a fee of any sort to travel, gather scents, track, kill and destroy the filth that raided them, we merely followed through on our promise that we will endeavour to protect those who wish to make a peaceful living in the central super grid.

I have personally traded bricks for cast iron with 2 other small Russian settlements in the central grid, who's existance we were not even aware of before the diplomacy thread.

I am merely one member of Sodom and not at the helm of managing diplomatic relations and was able to befriend and trade with 3 different Russian settlements within days after we agreed that we can do more, as Sodom, to bridge the language barrier. I do not know exactly how many PM's were received by Chakravanti & Burgingham, who are actually officially in charge of diplomatic relations, under the leadership of Juhubert, but understand it to be many.

Please do take note that this is a statement and not an invitation to troll this thread.
