Because those of us good enough to play without backstabbing each other stick together. Villains are villains because society has exiled them for their disloyal tendencies. Such warlocks as you can befriend no one because no one trusts you and you can trust no one.

"Good" and "Evil" are such absurd archaic religious notions. We simulate a game but come from a world enlightened enough to understand the relative nature of the universe and that things always put into the context of the fact that we can kick the dogshit out of you any time we want to.

There's always a way for even the weakest
of hearthlings to kill the strongest brutes of
the lands, Little David seems so innocent and
weak, yet he sure knows how to bring Goliath
down in one shot. in a 1 on 1 i can take anyone
you'd like. stats are no problem.

And, i can befriend plenty, i just need to make
another elias that is easily found out to show
that i'm a bad liar and you can easily see who
i am, and then make another who is always there
but never found out, i am in a village, they don't
know who i am, and they think i am helpful and
kind. Anyone can be in a society of people without
being seen for who they are.

You chaki may seeme as a backstabbing traitor,
yet at the same time if you found out i was a close
friend of yours in game as well without ever telling
you that it was actually me, would you still see me
as a backstabbing traitor?

heck, i'm sure you memorized the owner of that
claim you found with my name on it, if not.. that
just sucks but if you ever manage to find me i'll
laugh and escape, or if you come alone talk or
fight you,

What game are you playing? Stats are, sadly, everything in H&H.

I don't think Nao meant that stats don't matter in the game, but rather that it has decent enough stats to fight anyone 1 on 1.

Strategy beats stats.

Due to summoning offline even if you have to punch them to death you can kill anyone given proper strategy and time.

A true 'david and goliath' ending.

Yeah, summoning is not really taking someone 1 on 1. More like 1 on 0.

Sarge wrote:The absurd notion Chak is referring to, in context of his post, was conflict between Sodom and BN. It was easy to avoid it, as much as the suggested 3rd party tried to provoke it, due to the fact that a lot of the guys know each other from way back in the game.

It was due to these very diplomatic relations that conflict could comfortably be avoided. This is currently not the case with Sodom (and most other non-Russian speaking villages) and Russian villages, due to the communication challenges. We are therefore making a deliberate effort to bridge this gap. By doing so we will be able to sort bad Russians under the banner of "bad" with the rest of the scum and befriend the good Russians as we do any others we believe to be "good". So no more English vs Russian, good & bad only, as it should be in our opinions.

We firmly believe there is much to be gained, for everyone, with this approach and effort.

BN alsready gained some good steps in that direction, which was probably some easier as we have russian members.
i appreciate your idea chak (+the rest involved)
