My american friend killed some pollock who settled DIRECTLY OUTSIDE of our village and harvested all the hemp and flax we had sitting out there.
he may have been somewhat innocent but whatever

Isn't a Pollock a fish? Your friend must be very brave to accuse a fish of harvesting your crops and thus to kill and eat him.

The ironic part about this thread, is the Russian yelling at the German for killing an "innocent girl." After WWII the Russians raped many German women, for years. Luckily the world DIDN'T band together, and that part of the world just enslaves women for sex to this day.

It's an alternative (read: inability to spell properly) spelling for Polack, as in a person from Poland. Not sure if he's trying to be racist or the person is just Polish, but either way that term tends to be considered derogatory and offensive.

Also, oh god, here come the war stories from people who weren't there. (or even alive to be there)

WW2 ended 65 years ago people. It happened. It's over. Stop holding stupid grudges against people because of it.

Real world politics don't belong in this game. We have enough digital drama and politics to deal with. Anyone mentioning anything from any war prior to today and trying to attribute it to their actions in game needs to be shot, stabbed, poisoned, set on fire, beat up, boiled in tar, feathered, covered in concrete, and beaten viciously with a banana. Not necceserly in that order. Leave the RL politics out of the game people. It's a game, keep it fun.

Russians, fish, WW2 grudges, and troll naming. Has this thread been derailed? Has the problem been resolved? :O

I find this hard to believe, as everyone here is emulating real world politics inside of the game. Also, for the record what I said is in no way political. Thinking that a historic fact is a political statement makes you look like an ignorant troll, which I am sure you are not. ;)

Historical facts being used to explain or support any action within this game is as much a political statement as anything else. It's being a coward. Dredging up unrelated items from the past as a worthless excuse for actions that are unjustified in game. You might as well be a politician in the real world with such skill. Twist the facts around to fit whatever agenda you have planted in your mind, it's the very essence of politics at it's worst.
