and you mentioned safety? didn't you risk that when you started 'assimilating' people? a true empire lives with people within there territory when they want safety. not run around slaughtering everyone. you guys didn't have peace at first time. just think of sodom. and holy roman empire. they don't act like you. and they are safe. now that you have us. it is certain that you will pay for what you have done all these times. it's not that we will kill you one by one. it's that your people will start realizing something is going very wrong and it is not SAFE under your command.

P.S. okay. our chieftain has a bad temper and he's not representing our village right now if you know what i mean ;D

No not mines. we control more mines then i can count on 6 hands. i dont need another iron.

we gain security.
it sounds stupid, but its the few things i promised everyone in the empire.
i promise them any and all mines
i promise them they will be safe or saved from threats.
i promised them a new trade system within the empire that the rest of the game didn't have. a "have whatever you need" system that all villages played good part in.

this is what i offer in the "join us or die" discussions.
its what they expect of me and the capital village.
this is why they will fight at the other end of the empire, because its all a community in need of each other.

you all think this is just ridiculous, but its a game content i invented because this is an open ended sandbox game. this is how we role play.
we dont have allies and we dont trade, within the empire we are 100% self sufficient.

This fight is about securing a very loose hole in our safety.
you attacked our settlement not even knowing they were from the TOH.
i dont think i should have to post runestones at every village river, claiming a state of the empire just to expect safety.
because i was told you were friendly people.

so what do you want us to do eh? you just declared war on us and keep trolling around replying to evey single post of mine.
when i say 'trolling around replying' i don't mean a reasonable reply. i mean a cowardly off topic replies.
So let me get my opinion towards you straight. you declared war on us.
and you are keep saying things that doesn't make logic. keep blabbering like as if you are a empire leader irl.
you are not trying to solve this out nor attack us. if you really want to attack us stop replying my bad-english posts. okay?
what do you expect from your posts eh? i know what my posts are intended for.
They are for making ppl know that we are not barbaric raiders that kill everyone in there territory like you.
and letting people know that we are standing still towards your tyranny.
what do you want from us. just tell us that and we won't bother you afterwards. nor in this thread nor in hearthland.

I'm the lawspeaker of Erewhon, the village that Bordel attacked.

Bog (the villager who was murdered) was very dear to me and was our most active member. unfortunately, he isn't a gamer by nature. The concept of investing a month of one's time, to simply loose it in a single blow is foreign to him. While I appreciate the nature and mechanics of the game are centred around this, it doesn't make it any easier to come to terms with. Unfortunately HH has lost a player.

Bordel had visited us twice before this incident, claiming to be peaceful and interested in trade. Making this attack even more senseless and jarring. Boom repeatedly mentions that they've not been given chance to explain what happened and why. Yet I see no post on the forums, i'm kinned with one of your members, I see no explaination in this thread. You've had plenty of chance to explain, but I'd venture to assume there is no real explaination short of malice and thoughtlessness on behalf of your chieftain (the murderer).

As for TOH. I must admit that their PR as far of the forums goes is horrid (sorry guys). But as for in game, they've been nothing but polite, helpful and most supportive. The same day that bog was killed, we had rangers in our camp collecting scents. This death may indirectly be the result of us relocating to TOH territory, but I personally do not regret the move. I'm happy to be a part of TOH and i'm greatful that they're such a proactive and honest bunch of people. Their foreign policy may be rather militant, but at least they're honest and respectful about it, the opposite of how we were treated by Bordel.

To sumarise:
+1 for TOH
-1 for Bordel

I look forward to seeing your village burn.
