I'm not gonna bother, but from the information I got you're a loose cannon who attacks anyone without reason and if you're the strongest warrior Rothgard has there's going to be a problem next time you attack someone and end up dying.

DoG, we've played together for a while, and if you value my assessment then you'll believe that Broghk is nothing of the sort, even if he might come off like that at the 1st glance. He's a really level-headed person and as was stated here, he is fiercely protective of his villagers. He only dashed at Kazur after the guy did what he did. He even didn't begrudge me the fact that I sided with Kazur in that argument when I didn't have all the info.

Kazur, Nevenge told us (and you saw it in our forums as well), that he wasn't sure you were joking. In any case, YOU DID TARGET HIM, and that is enough to warrant Broghk's protective reaction in my book. On the other hand - you had invited an outsider and lured Broghk to our marketplace under false pretenses. That was just lame.

Also, as I am the LS of Rothgard - I want some info stated clearly here:

Sleeze would've been killed and kicked if she didn't FLEE when she caught on the fact that we had it with her. She was offensive and downright lazy.
IB left because he wanted to start over, to have fun roughing it out (as you claimed you wanted to do).
Van left because he got taken into your warmongering - his grandfather had just died so he was too emotional to think logically, he was allowed back after we talked it over.
Yuu left because you talked him into it, I guess (or because he was your alt as KV said, but I don't think so) - good riddance.
You tried talking Chade into leaving - he didn't want to, although you PM-ed me that he would leave.

I resented you for recruiting from our village, it shows that you meant to hurt us. We were kind enough to let you leave with your life and possessions intact. I also stated over and over that we wouldn't be coming after you. The reason you got killed was that you kept being offensive to Broghk and even KV and that you left a theft scent. I didn't know they'd go after you, but I can't say I blame them.

As for Broghk trashing Dany and his demeanor in general, Dany and him have talked it over. The problem was that Broghk is a very assertive person who doesn't want to drop an argument when he feels he is in the right. I've talked to him about that and how he should ease with his approach a bit. Since I wasn't online much at the time, and since I had a more extensive relationship with you than with Broghk (AND since you made Dany, my gf, believe you, because she's such a nice person and a bit naive), I believed what you said about him. I was wrong and I've talked it out with Broghk. Even after that, I've been nothing but civil to you. However, you're still sticking to your viewpoint - which you might even believe to be true after all this time - and you're trying your best to make Rothgard look like an evil and/or weak village. You have been pardoned more than a few times for things for which you would've been kicked/killed by other villages long ago.

In any case, I would like it to be known here that Rothgard is a friendly place to friendly people, as many players who came to us realised. To shit stirrers - you won't like it there and you'll probably get yourself killed.

Oh, and yes - we've been recruiting, did you think we'd just roll over and die just because a few people had left?
And your village name was Angkor or something like that - the same name as the hearth secret you gave to Chade to give to me when you wanted to talk. Imo, if you had been innocent in all of this, you wouldn't have unkinned me in the 1st place.

My problem with Broghk is that despite a trap, what if I had warped into Rothgard Marketplace? I sometimes do just warp there, what if he attacked me? I would not have simply let him attack me, I would have killed him. If Lake wasn't in on the 'joke', Broghk would be gone.

He needs to watch who he attacks because walking away from that was only because it was a joke, considering the damage he did with his attacks were under 2% of the defense bar I could only assume he has under 100 melee at least, and he will end up dying attacking the wrong people at Rothgard Marketplace.

When I go there to trade with you or others from Rothgard I do so with traveller's sacks as I feel safe there, it is brickwalled and I trust that the only people allowed in are friendly as Rothgard members I know of are friendly (you, dany, King V, Baldrick [if he still plays], InsaneBeard, etc). After hearing of the thing with Lake whether a joke or not, I've brought a sword and shield every time, I don't like to have to do this, and while it might just be one person the feeling os safety isn't really there anymore.

I don't know under what pretense Kazur got Broghk to come whether it was "Help I'm being attacked" or "Shit this guy said he's gonna kill Rothgard", but I know he attacked, that there is the big problem, because if I warped in before that happened wearing my dhelm that I usually forget to take off I don't know what would have happened, and yeah it would have been both of their faults too


Anyhow, I still love trading with you guys in general, King V is awesome, you're awesome, and the hirdsmen I've met so far are awesome, I just have a problem with people who attack without getting allthe facts, especially in a place like the Marketplace that is relatively 'safe'.

P.S. May want to consider a small house that people 'can' enter there, if a ranger's bow wielding guy comes from the outside there is no where to 'run' to take the aim off of yourself.

As for the feeling of safety - I can vouch for all of our villagers but I guess everything is possible, as we have seen But as far as I know - Broghk attacked cause he felt threatened at the time, it was just a culmination of events. Lake moved towards him and so he attacked. Anyways, it was a misunderstanding obviously, but it was one instigated by Kazur, not Broghk. I'd like you to feel safe at our place. We've had the goons over as well, they always came with armed escort, though

I'll leave things as they are with Broghk since I don't know the specifics, he never gave me 100% his side of what went down, I only got from Kazur and from Lake, and I know either Kazur or Broghk were lying because both of them stated that the other was 'terrorizing' and KOing new Rothgardians. In fact according to Kazur that was the reason why he had Lake 'show Broghk a lesson' was because Broghk was constantly KOing him. I gave him advice on the matter of what to do if someone was constantly KOing you for shits and giggles, but it definitely wasn't that.

I'm not sure it'll be smart for me to go unarmed though since I know other people can go there, although I'm assuming it's 100% neutral grounds I'm not sure to what extend these other trading partners take that, same as CO. Well, que sera sera, still a good little place to trade.

Yeah, I suggest you do take weapons there just to be safe since we can't guarantee your safety as to the other traders.

As for the Kaz/Broghk story - I got both accounts while I was impartial (maybe even more partial to Kazur) and I'm sure it was not Broghk who was terrorizing anyone.

Well dog. i'm back from work. and i see all these posts. I still have the screenshots of my argument with ka-zur. if you would like to see them(the runestone incident). I also have the little talk i had with you after the incident. the one where you told me Kaz's side about Lake knew i was going to attack him and he was gonna make me feel weak.

My side is this.

Sheikera says in Vent that Kaz's MM targeting Ceroth. I told Kaz to stop, and me and DA blow it off to mis info, as we also talk about how easy it would be to go against a solo MM'r. Sheikera comes on in vent sounding distressed cause she says Kaz is still targeting Ceroth. I see Kaz close to the Village shrine. So i initiate combat and dash at his a couple of times. I then tell him in vent, it doesn't feel good to have somebody with a higher combat ability to pick on him, now does it. and then told him to leave creoth alone. Kaz tells me to ocme to marketplace(here i'm thinking we're gonna spar again or he's going to apologize for MM targeting cero. I get there, and i see a dude in a merchant's robe, sword, dragon helm and armor come sprinting at me. Like i told you that night. my only fault was initiating combat with that guy. I regret that cause i usually let the other make the first move. But when i see kaz sitting right above me iwth his gear. I'm thinking at first it's either kaz's main, or he hired someone to kill me.

i didn't have some of my armor on(didnt have helm, pants, or vamp on) and i was cooking and doing the leach thing from my newley aquired con boosting.


Bottom line i could had lost my char that night. but cooler fingers prevailed and i talked with lake Apologizing for initiating combat and telling him i thought he was a char of Kaz. i then said to him we can let this go or we can finish it. he said i just want to leave lololol
