I feel your pain xD my mistake of joining WV when
i got yelled at by Warri AND Rage for being lazy then
in world 3 figuring it'd be alright to join Rage...
Nope xD

Another good reason to join small villages ^^

I agree with this.

There was nothing exciting about W2 for me. I wouldn't call it fear, but knowing that I was probably going to die if I logged in actually made me stop playing. I would have quit until W3 but it was announced a couple days later so not much of a break. Weak walls and teleportation are not a good combination.

However, W3 is not exciting at all. The most interesting thing that happened to Sodom was some early thieving before the village claim and wall were up. Worldwide, it has been mostly silent in terms of antagonism. Maybe having decent stats makes you want war, because I'd actually like something to happen now.
Come back two hours earlier.

world 3 started off exciting for me because i killed a bunch of robbers. Then the raid of xanadu was very crazy with that melee fight, i didn't know if we were winning or losing, my mind was racing during it and for hours after. Never really felt like that in a game before, which i guess is because of the perma death and knowing that if me or my brother died it would have been devistating.

but for the last couple of months there has been nothing happening. also the fact that there were 0 updates for 2 months while they were doing their skill thingy only to scrap it makes this map pretty boring right now.

i started world 2 late, but in that world, i had an enemy to kill who was stronger than me and was in a evil village. so i always had a goal to get stronger and get revenge. there were more raids in that world and thus more entertaining.

Hm, I thought you were playing before me since you had a p claim covering most of the main part of original Xanadu.

I loved world two, world 1 was a bit chaotic though I joined right at the end of it. I enjoyed W2 a great deal. But like some have said, w3 is the best overall as the game has matured some and the playerbase as well. I think it's came up a few notches in maturity and all the new mechanics have been a joy to play with. There really is a greatdeal to do now which I think has cut down on alot of the greifing as most are actually busy and have things to do, if they have any imagination anyway..lol

Sadly, I joined in world 3. I haven't suffered a death yet, but there are some Russians who have found my little Hamlet and are now telling my friends and I that they want to kill us. It's not very exciting, but I am playing for the sandbox aspect of the game and to learn what I can before W4 comes around. I agree that the combat is long winded. I feel pretty regularly that because I haven't been playing 16 hours a day for the bast 5 months that I can't really affect anything in the game on a PvP/Political level.
Began in World 3:
Bishop Lawspeaker of The Den of Badgers
Ripley member of Odditown

Continued in World 4:
Bishop Lawspeaker of Hatchet Flats
