I think this may be best moved to Congress.

Sarah Jane here.

The events of last night where highly unfortunate. While Gato's legendary temper was partially responsible, the number of guilt parties is high. Pressure and myself are as much to blame as anyone else, and Al has his hand in here as well. There were a lot of events that lead up to this. Let's not point too many fingers, because a lot of them will be pointing at ourselves.

Garfy, I'm terribly sorry that you were slain, and the contents of your cupboards destroyed. Let me give you a solemn promise that myself, ElGato, and Al will make this right. You needn't suffer for being struck by the fringe of the political storm that sometimes waft through this world. Gato has promised me that he will make amends to your village. He's deeded Broholm the iron mine to start, and promised to make restitution for the gold and other objects destroyed. If he doesn't, I will.

Don't assume that this offer is made lightly, or is a given. Might makes right in much of H&H, and there are few people who would force Gato to do what he has, in an act of contrition, offered you. This is an olive branch. Please, take it as given.

Forgiveness is hard, I know, but Gato is offering you blood-money. I promise you my aid, as well as Al. We will all help you rebuild. Now is not the time to be pointing swords at those who should and could be our friends, when there are wolves circling in the distance.
it seems killing this sarah person will bring down the wrath of pande...which mean your following week goal will likely be making a ton of cone cows... -- niltrias

Good to see you, too. She doesn't have free time to play now, I don't know if she ever continue. And, yes, I'm here again... :)

Now I really didn't expect that. Glad Sodom are so generous about this incident.

As a relatively new member to Broholm (About a week as of today!), I watched all of this unfold and was mildly shocked that things got so nasty so quick over what is a (relatively) common resource to the upper-end cities. I can totally understand flipping your shit if this were a silver or gold mine, but let's face it- we're out on the fringes, and any little bit of leg up we can get to be on at least trading parity with the great cities ('Nople, Sodom, AD, etc.) is going to be pursued.

To be frank, I'm glad to see the amount of discussion, response, and the speed at which the social/political system works in H&H. While I'm sure no one is entirely happy with everything as it stands, I am glad to see a compromise was reached-- and that at the end of the day we're not calling for the blood of everyone.

Much love,

Bromide

And, Sodom has nothing to do with what I offered to help with.
