Actually, the original thief was killed to, killed the same day he looted your farm... And _after_ that you placed runestone in front of his gates, telling him to give your stuff back..
About his farm - it's the one witch has no plants, so Oblivior defenetly suffered for nothing, maybe just trepassing.. )
