When asked what mineville had done to deserve this, no tangible reason was given, and the impression was that they were killed because (atleast their leader) was a horrible troll, In which i agree.

This is some pretty savage shit that doesn't sound like it's been explained properly. Why did someone in nettle clothing need to be beaten nearly to death and have all their prized possessions destroyed? "Getting caught up in a political mess" doesn't really sound like justification for that. It's not really my place to complain about it, but does the greed of the most powerful cities in the world know no limit? If that's how it is, I guess it's only a matter of time before they attempt to take over the world, slaughtering or enslaving any civilian in their path, enforcing dictatorship, making people rage quit. I know people die, but this sounds way over the top. Could've asked that Garfy fellow to lay down his arms before treating him like a vicious enemy, though I guess that wouldn't make a difference if civilians are also targets.
