Not sure about everyone else but I don't think Sodom here is trying to be the beacon of light or anything here, we try to help a bit as well as be overly good neighbors but we're not knights of the hearthlands or anything.

Also just because they are civilians doesn't mean they are innocent either. And no, not all tracking end in a summon-kill either.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.
