Things I learned from this thread:

1. Ravenholm was destroyed.
2. Jorb is apparently going to hell for it.
3. Nobody is hunting down the killer.

Newcharacters cannot just jump online and be able to detect scents dude. YOu have to grind for a week to get your skills up and perception and so forth.

For those who missed it...

If you're a griefer: You can pop back instantly even if you're killed because apparently skills like MURDER at 100k LP a pop are easy to macro grind and obtain.

If you're a non-griefer: Getting Ranging (7,500k LP) takes months, years even!

The only problem with having real world no holds barred type rule set is, griefers do not come back when put down in the real world; clearly the opposite here. So there is no justice in this world because the person causing the grief, their death isn't permanent, it is merely an inconvenience. Hardly the same thing as someone who would have been hunted down in the time period we are playing.

It's always funny how the person who griefs can come back easily but the village they destroy apparently can never come back and re-building is a complete waste of time because "someone will just destroy it again". Meanwhile, a server reset and complete character wipe is all well and good and perfectly okay.

There is NO reasonable way to trade in this game.

If you're talking about trading in large quantities, then this is a known problem that Jorb is working on. Hence the "Alpha" part of the game.

Also, a word of advice: Just because someone says they don't care, doesn't mean they're telling the truth. I guarantee you that killing this guy (via offline summoning of course, we're not retarded enough here to take stronger people out while they're online I hope) will give you lots of peace and joy and also mess him up for a while. And if he comes back, you kill him again and again and again. And if you find a village that's supporting him, you organise to wipe out that village just as Bottleneck did. And you show the world that no-one fucks with Ravenholm.
