It's not really my place to complain about it, but does the greed of the most powerful cities in the world know no limit? If that's how it is, I guess it's only a matter of time before they attempt to take over the world, slaughtering or enslaving any civilian in their path, enforcing dictatorship, making people rage quit.

I'm a completely uninvolved party, so please don't punish them further for my words. I, for one, will be sure to stay the fuck away from the (self-) center of the world.

Sir, I know not who you are but I ask you to not to start slandering us. We are trying to help these guys after our mistake. Everyone, we're not looking for a fight, a grudge, to grief anyone. I want to ask everyone here in this thread to keep negativity out of this. This isn't the time to start pointing fingers, this is the time to start giving a hand towards a group of people that has been hurt.

90% of this thread is utter shit. Sodom is not responsible for the actions of one of its members any more than Canada is responsible for what I do abroad. Furthermore, if I go abroad and commit crimes, but the local police are unable to put me away? No harm, no foul, unless Canada decides to prosecute me for it when I return - and even if they don't, it doesn't mean that they condone the activity in question. Just that they don't care.

It's kinda sad that so many goddamn rubberneckers decided to get involved in this trainwreck of an incident, or the 'victims' would have gotten exactly what they deserve - nothing.

So, for your hypothetical situation let's say you commit a crime outside of Canada and for this hypothetical situation let's just say Canada was a leading empirical power . Now, for the sake of this argument let's say that you go to the U.S. and slaughter off an entire town of people and hypothetically speaking that town consisted of 3 million people. Not only would the U.S. come after you and put your picture up higher than Osama's, but your nation of Canada who let's just say is a kind and wise group of people who like any other country would try to keep cool with their neighbors would in an attempt to preserve peace would most likely extradite your ass to the U.S. simply because they not only not care about you, but they also don't want the U.N. to get all bitchy on them about that kind of crap.

All in all, that is the basic situation that Sodom and these guys are currently facing except Sodom is a major faction that wants to preserve it's image of being cool and good people. So basically, no one major power wants to look like a hypocritical brutish force or else everyone else is gonna be on their ass in 20 minutes or less.

The events of last night where highly unfortunate. While Gato's legendary temper was partially responsible, the number of guilt parties is high. Pressure and myself are as much to blame as anyone else, and Al has his hand in here as well. There were a lot of events that lead up to this. Let's not point too many fingers, because a lot of them will be pointing at ourselves.

Garfy, I'm terribly sorry that you were slain, and the contents of your cupboards destroyed. Let me give you a solemn promise that myself, ElGato, and Al will make this right. You needn't suffer for being struck by the fringe of the political storm that sometimes waft through this world. Gato has promised me that he will make amends to your village. He's deeded Broholm the iron mine to start, and promised to make restitution for the gold and other objects destroyed. If he doesn't, I will.

Don't assume that this offer is made lightly, or is a given. Might makes right in much of H&H, and there are few people who would force Gato to do what he has, in an act of contrition, offered you. This is an olive branch. Please, take it as given.
