And damn, at either of those prices, did clay become expensive this map or what. I remember the good old days of just digging that shit up by the chest full, hird-porting it back home and repeating a couple hundred times.

EDIT: Fixed de b0rked image.

I remember when we had kilns set up immediately adjacent to the clay pits and every Bottlenecker (nearly) had a personal brick wall. I built two over the course of the first world, in fact, and had to repair the first one (with 17 bricks per wall segment!) after the first brick wall buff.

Ah, memories.

yeah well once you dig a few the quality drops and you have to wait a day, so it's significantly more of a pain in the ass now. also your image is borked.

I think that resource spot regenerate one unit of a resource per decay hit, and since they have a large area it adds up. My q43 soil takes like 20 diggings to go down to 42, and in 12 hours it's regenerated. Given the size of that soil spot, I think 40 decay hits per day is just about right. Higher q spots should regenerate faster, since they have a bigger area.

On the other hand, I could be completely off the target with this guesswork.

Something like that?

First off, I'd like to clear a few things up. My story in no way was an attempt to take the moral high ground. I was a self admitted ne'er-do-well. Good job on the misspellings and detailed reply, though. Way to totally miss the point.

To be honest, the main reason I find raiding so attractive on BN is that I expected better from Bay-12. Instead I find a bunch of people who take things dead serious when you destroy their pixels. Oh, and Russians, and Saint McCarthy told me once that killing Russians was the fastest way into heaven.
