I think this would solve the issue completely. I had no way to tell I was about to die and so couldn't do anything to prevent it.

Yeah.. aiming at a deer in the woods
from a couple hundred feet away when
it hears your bowstring being pulled back
and stomps on your face. Bad idea.

BTW one shotting is fully possible with
UA, just punch someone as they're walking
past something you're hiding behind, armor
pen and pure strength kills them, you
don't even need high ua and dont need to
get any initiative, just click punch as they're
walking past you and they're on their back.

Have you ever played a shooter? having
it engage on aim is like playing against
eachother on split screen and whenever
someone pulls their sights up from where
you can't see them you start to hop around
because you can see their screen.

stealth should check vs per of the person you're targeting and give some warning if detecting but not the normal aggro thing where the portrait comes up and you can click on it

Yes. I used to play Halo PC during LAN parties and it opened me up for a world of hurt when someone would look on my screen, and everyone would find me and shoot me with rockets. :lol:

I can see your point, and I like Sabinati's suggestion. Perhaps if armor was buffed against arrows (so that you wouldn't get KO'd instantly if you have good armor) and charge time was shortened, you would have enough notice that you were being attacked, so you could react while still allowing archery to still be useful for siege situations and such.

I see what you mean. If it causes a normal aggro then no ranger will be able to kill anyone that isn't afk. But I definetly think some change should be made, I just can't see how 1 shot kills with no warning can be a good mechanic in this game (I may have a different opinion had I not been the one who killed, maybe its just my butt hurt speaking).

Anything that gives some sort of minor notification to the target would be good, and it giving stealth a use is also plus.

oh holy crap my first lan. was in a very cold cellar.
without a hub/switch. 10mbit pur speed.
but not enough if someone leech some porns.
we played cs and c&c r:a 2 all the time.
if someone removed his network-cable,
the whole network was down,
and the guy was punched.

die instantly then, get inside before you
pass out

Might be a retarded idea, it's 2 in the
morning here and i haven't slept =p
