Someone around my Village zone

i have had allot of activity lately around my village zone (no claim yet but full with buildings and palisaded) it's odd since i live in a grid with only 3 villages

-5 days ago someone opened the gate and lost the key,so someone came in and stole all my metal,tools and silk.(i coudn't get any scent)
-after rebuilding the gate 3 days ago a guy with a pumpkin mask and a latern came here moving objects outside of the palisade,no big deal.
-This morning there was a runestone with greetings from someone i was hunting so i missed the person who made it.
-But now again i came back from boar hunting and i live on grassland and sometimes there are spawns of animals inside our village i came back to see animal corpses around the village (you know the big cow things) appairently 1 hitted because some where in the middle

So if the one who did this is watching i don't mind you did this i'm skinning them now but please tell me if your friendly or your trying to kill people who live here...

If he wanted you dead, he would have killed you already. Either that, or he's just having some fun, before he goes in for the kill. Be alert in any case.

You can i saw it in a video once a ranger killing someone trough the wall and he did it to because there are no holes in my wall and gate is always closed (i'm the only one who has a key)

I think you should get a village claim up and running.

Claim is the first thing anyone should put up when building up a place.
So either make a village claim or make a personal claim and give acess to those who need it.
make sure your claim is large enough to cover a fair amount of aria outside of your wall
aswell as the inside. If you have no claim at all, no crime scents will be left by the perpetrator,
they can just take stuff without having to be affraid of beeing punished. so having no claim is asking for trubble.
offcourse even if you have a claim they can still do criminal acts but they will atleast leave scents, for tracking or
summoning, or even used to provide evidence for an experienced ranger to help you out with the punishement or
atleast find out who it is.

If you suspect someone else has a copy of your key that are not suppose to have it, you must brake your own door
and build a new door with new keys, its the only way. the person who has your keys can make their own copys of
that key so they will have access whenever they feel like entering your place if you dont replace the door.
