Murdered for a crime I didn't commit!

Postby Anomaly » Wed Aug 11, 2010 9:04 am

So who I thought was my friend just killed me because of some cow. I did not touch any cows and he just came up to me and killed me! Did he have proof? NO! He just outright killed me without telling me anything, I demand justice! For the past few days I have not even come on, I was getting bored of H&H and decided to take a break for a while, I played some Dragonfable, MechQuest, EpicDuel, anything that would get me away from H&H for a while. Then, when I come back on. I am killed without reason!

I want this man killed, I want justice! The village he is in is an allied village with Reichs-zinn Festung. I cannot offer you anything, but will anything you find on the man suffice? You can waste his village, take over his mine, I don't care. All I want is justice for a crime I never committed!

EDIT: Also, he didn't even present any scents to me, he just killed me without warning. I tried reasoning with him through private chat, but to no avail. I do not even have any black skills, if it was his cow, then it must have been on his land correct? If so, how would I kill said cow, without any black skills? And if I did, wouldn't I leave any scents? Did he try tracking the killer of the cow? Or perhaps I was framed?

You had a q10 hide in your cupboard. You were offline for 2 days after the cow was killed, and refused to log on. There were only 3 people in the village. The Lawspeaker who owned the cows, the total noob who barely knows how to play the game, and yourself. There were no scents left at the scene, therefore it was obviously someone within the village. Why would the lawspeaker, who is a very good friend of mine, kill his own cows, and then ask me to hunt down the person who did it? How would a person who played the game for less than a week know how to slaughter a cow? You are the only person who could have killed that cow. I have also been told that you had been complaining for some time that you "never get fed" and had been bugging people for constitution food such as beef. So I really don't see how it couldn't have been you.

I just ask for bread because I don't want to eat any food that would otherwise not increase my STR since I was pumping it at the moment.

I had a few Q10 hides in my cupboards from the early boars I killed when my Survival was still low and I only had the capability to kill low level boars near the village itself.

I would have never killed that cow, if I did have the intention I would have asked for permission first. I almost never take anything without permission unless I am actually permitted to use whatever I would want.

No scents? Did you repeatedly come back to the scene of the crime? It's possible that the killer had lots of Stealth and your Perc x Exploration was not enough to see it. I wouldn't be surprised if someone managed to kill the cow since he always keeps the gates open. Tsk, tsk.

Was this really enough of a reason? You sicken me.

EDIT: Also, was this simple cow really enough to break our friendship? I was a loyal villager through and through, you killed me because of a cow that could have easily been replaced! But what about my character? Can you replace him? Can you bring him back to life? No. I spent time and effort on that character, then you just decide to kill it. I'll really be laughing my ass off when you find the actual culprit.

There are literally no people around where we are besides us. I really doubt that some non-existent person would come along and kill a cow just to frame you.
As for the scents, sometimes the lack of evidence is the evidence. 3 people in the village means that only 3 people could have done it. Just so you know, High stealth doesn't protect you from much. The scents have a chance to load every time the screen is loaded based on your own perception and exploration, and I walk by the cow pen every day. There's no chance that anyone outside the village could have done it and not left a scent.

And let me just note, that you were afraid to log on because you thought that you were going to be in trouble. That's all fine and dandy, except for the part where you say you didn't kill the cow and had no idea it happened.

hmm here's my 2 cents

1: a ql 10 hide can comes from any wild cow you kill or wild animal which not hard to do if its snipe it form a boat and you moveaway afterwords to let the herd deaggro to get your kill(if theres a herd involed)
2:hate to say it but all it take to slaughter a cow is right clicking one and miss clicking the tab(shows how much you know it could have been the noob and for all intents and purposes been completely a accident (almost slaughter one of my own the way)
3: theres a nasty glitch in which animals get outside of fences once in a while due to heavy lag or a server crash which will in the end leaves no scents ie if the no body
oh and a quick question that might throw your only proof out the window was the cow the 1st or 2cd or on generation
My friends are those who stand beside me, My enemies are those who stand against me, Those in between are innocent
I swear to protect my friends and the innocent from my enemies
So my question is Who Are You?

I'm not entirely sure if the cow was first or second generation, only the LS could really say as they were his cows.

I didn't want to come on because Jfloyd was telling me to go fetch clay, I was playing lazy and just decided to come on later when he was off so I could just go about my own business.

When you finally did log in you saw me standing on the road rather far away from you, freaked out, and logged off within 2 seconds. That's not suspicious at all.

I had only logged in for a while so as to see if Jfloyd was still online so I could avoid him telling me to go fetch him some clay for a replacement kiln, after wards I logged off. To be honest I saw nobody standing there, I just looked at my kin list to determine if he was online or not.

Also, he killed Anomaly Bloodbane. :ugeek:
