A murderer is brought to justice

Postby barra » Mon Aug 30, 2010 3:26 pm

Today we recieved an unfortunate message:
Michael says:
hello
we have been killed
won't play ever.
we were killed in the ашудв
туфкин еру здфсу нщг ещщл сдфн фтв й34 цфеук
sorry
nearby the place you took clay and q34 water
nearby the place you took clay and q34 water

sorry for double post
the killer had a sword, a bear cape and blue armor (forgot it name)
he seems not to have murder
it took him 2 strikes to kill me and my dad

Image

Villagers of nearby Mithrandir-hall, and both leaders AlterGod and his dad were killed out of the blue next to their clay/waterspot. AlterGod gave us the loc, and we were able to find the two bodies. "A guy with a sword wearing blue armor". We collected scents, and tracked the perp's hearthfire about two supergrids south-west. We ran into another scent-marked skeleton on the way that tracked to the same place.

Image

We found an obvious hearthvault and realized it wasn't going to be as simple as summoning and killing him. Fortunately the perp was still online, so we guessed he might be close or at his "main" village. After traveling a few rivers further south, we found a mysterious stranger in a bandit mask, chainmail shirt and merch robe. My village members stalled him while I checked all my scents on him from different angles- every one pointing to him.

"I'm so lonely"
Image

When we engaged he bolted, but when he realized he couldn't escape he tried logging off. Suicide or idiot, I don't care.

Image

The murderer is dead- if you want the scents so you can check his body, you know where to find them. I hope you decide to stay AlterGod, it's nice to have good neighbors. You guys helped us with tin before we had our second mine, maybe this justice is worth something in return.

It would really suck if AG and his dad decide to stop playing, they were cool. I'll miss them randomly popping up to talk about random stuff while I'm farming. :( Man I hate griefers.

i don't know what to say except "thanks".
i think killing is not the best way of communication
my dad was fully innocent, he didn't even have skills like theft or something
he was a good farmer and a good lawspeaker.
i had all the skills, even murder, but only because necromancer's cloack gave me intelligence.
our village was small, but we were about to make it a little bigger.

hope this guy was the only one who loves killing just after saying "hi".

This reminds me of that family we had playing in New Brodgar...There was a father, a mother and a daughter.
Sad to see that people kill just for a thrill, but I guess you just can't get that thrill from anywhere else can you?

I would fully understand him killing people who took stuff from a High Quality node he found however killing for a Q38 node is ridiculous. He got what he deserved.good job.

We don't think he actually killed them for the node. We followed in a trail of destruction (read, random criminal scents) from this guy as we tracked him. Seems he was just in the mood to cause some havoc, which he did. Then we sent him to his maker. Also Oblivior, I'm lolling at the Ryze sig. You could at least have made it someone cool like Gentleman Cho :(
