Where is Gauss Village?

I settle near Gauss Village but it seems abandoned. Sodom is prob somewhere near but I dont know is it friendly and want to trade. Another question is where I can find another active village near which I can settle and trade. I'm looking for quite quiet and peaceful place. Anyone can help?
