Seeing as I cant even locate myself on the map here are some ( presumably dead but they may not be. )

Rathole
Bearheader

more will probably be added if I dont figure out where they are.

You are Approximately near Ironcliff, and far north of Port Eyrie, at least, that's where I understand Rathole to be. You are also near Tir na Nog, Magh Tuireadh, and Emain Macha.

If I find myself on the map now I give you a heartily salute.

EDIT: Nope, not finding it. Should I post a picture if I can find that place again?

Water is the key my friend, follow a river long enough you'll see some features on the map that line up (other terrain features can help to a lesser extent).

I'm trying that. I found a pretty fucking huge lake with multiple settlements ( Best village, Bearheaders ) but they were all dead and decaying. No use in using that I suppose. The lake has one entry ( no rivers running away from it ) and the entry is pretty big as well.

Well if your really stuck and using a mod client, check out this thread and do an upload, then see if any part of the map changes, either way the compiler is a great boon to getting the bigger picture.

I just found '' Vitterstad property '' or something. Not entirely sure but I've seen vitterstad somewhere and this should be far I suppose? The name was on a runestone so it could be wrong.

For your steadfastness I salute you sir, there's no way I'd still be playing if it was still in 640x480. You may have to resort to in game cartography then.
