A special village perhaps?

Postby Shadow7168 » Mon Jan 03, 2011 4:00 am

Well, with the new update, as you all know, you can now pave caves. That allows a multitude of new buildings; most importantly a village claim. As well, we can now build houses in caves as well. So, what I propose is a entire village in a cave. I already have the cave in question found - a massive one not yet prospected around the inner ring. There is one chamber that is roughly 1 minimap by 2 minimaps atleast. So, tell me if your interested, and perhaps this may work.

That is pretty interesting, if only there was a way you could farm in caves though. :(

You could fish. Or you could make a farm outside the cave.

what you should do is find a cave with a mine or two in it, then it would be worth living in

What you also need is ability to minimap. Or does cartography work :?:

But the topic sounds interesting - "special" village; as if made for people with special needs :/

Those special needs being a bigger challenge than just building a regular village. Think about it - No trees, no farming, no livestock, less-available fishing...The only reward being the reduced chances of a raid or intruder due to the inconspicuous location.

One question: Do claims affect caves if they're outside? For example, if someone has a claim that covers a cave entrance, does that person then have to get a second claim made if they wish to protect the inside?

On an unrelated note, I am a proud member of the Church of Sabinate. Gib monies and don't get repotted!
