York - when is it active?

I've made a new account lately, living as a backwoodsman not too far from York (two rivers and two lakes away, do-able with the abandoned boat my noob character found). However, I've checked the "trading area" (as marked with runestone) a few times and nobody's ever there. Are markets held at set times? If not, is there any point in me boating my wares over?

(Tbh currently my wares aren't worth a bag of bean seeds, but for future reference 'twould be good to know.)

Yes, York is Active. Mostly players of York is from Poland so they play in polish day.
But in December in York was massive depart because Lawaspeaker can't play. But a faw days ago in York is new Lawaspeaker so York is kept alive and well.
