After killing this second thief,


another Kenny appeared, trying to shoot us with a bow. Somewhat later, seeing the futility of his ways, he began an incomprehensible rant, which we finally understood to be a plead for his life. Since the nice <thonk> sounds of his arrows hitting our armor made us lol, and had gotten us in a somewhat generous mood, we decided to spare his life, and let him off with a stern warning, not ever to even think of raiding our area again.

Hah, wow, that brings back some memories of the first world. (I dunno if you guys remember my forum name; I was OwenQuillion in game 'til I drifted off from the game in the second world).

Sorry if I'm derailing the thread any here, but it's good to see Bottleneck's still around. I'd been poking around the B12 topic for Diamondfires and hadn't seen any of the old familiar faces so I figured everybody had quit or broken apart into other groups. I've been lurking for about a week now as I play, trying to decide if I want to get back into the game. Now that some of my other e-friends have signed up it looks like I will be. Doubt I'll be part of Bottleneck again (well, not in the near future as I've settled elsewhere), but still good to see you're all still alive and kicking.
