Can you help Luna Village

Postby XE23K13L » Tue Apr 20, 2010 12:20 am

Ok so A friend and myself are trying to get a small village together and we need supplies bad.
food is very hard to find and neither of us can hunt good and we don't have seeds to farm anything
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this topic but were in desperate need of assistance.

If you could help that would be most appreciated.

If you happen to be in my supergrid, I am sure I can be of help.
Do you know roughly where you are?

But first and foremost: get rid of that oversized signature!

Haha alright.
i live near tons of apple trees and a desert type terrain at each side of me excluding north thats a river thing.
to the west there is a HUGE fenced in city called Oathsworn...so the western path is completely block off for my friend and i.
i have not ventured east or south yet so i have no clue where those lead me too.
i hope that helps a little

'Near Oathsworn' is a good starting point because I imagine someone else has heard of it, though I personally haven't.

If you want to take matters a little more into your own hands, you can browse through this topic and see if anywhere looks familiar.

I'll make the same offer as Gauteamus - if you happen to be in my supergrid (or an adjacent one; I really do need to do some walking/boating to find some windsown weeds), I can give you some assistance.

I have not heard of "Oathsworn" either, but surely someone will read this who have.

Thanks for trimming the signature :-D

i am looking at all of them right now thank you :3

and its a HUGE place. If i could i would show you. The place has the entire western area blocked and if i go further south i get mauled by bears. I barley escaped my last attack ; w;

The other thing that you can do is go wander off. get your Exploration up asap to at least 10 but really i would say 20 you can find some wild windblown seeds.

you will need to have a drying rack or an Herbalist table (this is the best method because the drying rack will take two days instead of 8 hours)

when the WWW dry out they turn into a random seed. then you can start farming. Have someone be at full nature on your Personal Beliefs bar so that you get three seeds per plant. this will help getting your farm fields up.

Food should be as easy as finding rabbits or Chickens. Chickens can be found in Grasslands and they are really nice because they spawn in groups. then you can get like 10 chickens. Also a good thing to do is build a chicken coop once you get some straw then you can have it so that you have a good generation of chickens.
Rabbits can be found in the Woods as well as the grasslands(i think) to Catch either the chicken or the rabbit you need to have a 2x2 space open in your inventory. O and Be really close to it. otherwise he will out run you.

Also if you go wondering around for a couple of hours eating off the land. you can usually find some people out there. at least their lands. If they have crops and arent home and they are not under a claim then i would say go ahead and maybe harvest one of each plant and replant the other seed you get from harvesting so that you are just "borrowing"

I wish you luck. Hope this helps.

It does thank you but the only problem is that boars and bears are everywhere outside my village and both of our health is low.
idk how the Leeches help but they don't they take life away instead of giving it, damn you wiki >:O
i've gotten the place fenced in and built a small log cabin about to build one more.
This is why i'm really aiming for another hunter in the village. but i will try wandering for a few and see if i can find a neighbor with crops they can give/or trade. At least we got apples :D

are you actually running a village or is it just a claim?

And leeches work like this. you need to have SHP as well as HHP

there is a CHANCE that the leech will give you a HHP but they can also take away SHP which regenerate
