Claim got hijacked.

Postby lorddread » Tue Jun 15, 2010 7:43 pm

My claim was just hijacked. They built a village idol 1 tile from the north wall and teleported in.... then palisaded me out of my own claim by building a wall inside the palisade.

Im pretty sure thats abusing the village idol and the palisade in ways they shouldn't be used.

o_O i need help.

thank the asshole that reported the bug and explained how its done, instead of going directly to jorb and lothar with it. thats prob where they got the idea from(even if the bug has been around for a long time, dont make it your job to let everyone know how its done)

oh... it seems you are doing the same, so the next guy screwed by it can thank you.....

One could argue that in case jorb gets annoyed enough by stuff like this (= having to rescue players) he'll bug loftar until he then is annoyed enough to change it.

I don't know what to say.

Why was your wall built outside of the bounds of your claim? It's standard practice to build walls within claims with at least a couple of tiles of space to catch scents of any intruders and prevent people from building extra gates without leaving scents AND/OR build village claims right next to the wall.

I'm not justifying what they did, but you sort of had it coming. =/

The idol is placed next to his north wall sing vandalism to bypass the claim security and pretty much used the village travel to bypass the wall. Vandalism laughs at claims as demonstrated by this victim.
