Investigating the Raid of Barcania

Hi Jeebus,

You say you are the lawspeaker of Deephold. The settlement that I am a part of has recently been "raided" by a guy who claimed to be from Deephold. We have no scents as proof sadly as he found out the HS of one of our people and made an alt there. He then proceeded to empty the contents of any unclaimed cupboards (some of us are fairly new) and either take them away or just drop them and wait for them to disappear.

One person here claimed that they saw this happen and the guy was using a collection of Russian characters as his name. I would appreciate it if you could get back to me with any idea who thought that it would be fun to spawn at a fairly new settlement and screw us over for no reason, or to tell me that no-one in Deephold has done such a thing recently.

The settlement I am from is Barcania btw.

As the new LS of Deephold, I'm annoyed that someone would frame our village for this act, and only on my fourth day, too!! I'm looking for information on the culprit that raided Barcania so he can be exposed for the fraud that he is. As it stands, I just started this investigation, like 20 minutes ago, and have not got any more info other than this PM from SotK so far. If any Barcanians have any more details, or anyone else knows anything on this matter, PM me.

Just to clarify, no members of Deephold or Rome have the ability to use Russian characters on their keyboards. They are all American timezone individuals except for one lone Brit. The few Russians we had as members left weeks ago to persue other interests. It is my suspicions that the ones doing the framing are probably the same people who raided us a week or two ago and got their arses rammed in by Sodom. These people who used to live in Fort Ross. That is only an assumption though. Also, emptying cup boards and throwing things on the floor seems to be the standard practice of these people from Fort Ross. Thats what they did to us.

Finally, we have resources of our own. We have niether a reason nor the desire to raid the unprotected cup boards of new players for useless trinkets. There we nothing we have to gain by taking actions such as these. We are sorry you are suffering these injustices. If you are close to the center grids maybe we can send you some supplies to help you out, but other than that I can only say we are being frame.

it may help if the vivctim uses the "describe to"-otion on the kinlist.
he would describe the raider to you and you could check if you know him

Umm... Whoever did this is an a**hole... I've been playing the game for 3 days and he threw away all of my stuff ... If some noob stole some of my stuff to survive or craft something I wouldn't be angry... But this makes me angry (btw my cupboard was almost full and lots of those things were essential for me)

This clearly suggests that you are being framed by someone then. I think that this is the most likely explanation. When I was told the guy said he was from Deephold I was quite surprised since from my lurking on these forums I didn't think any of you would just screw over a new-ish group of people.

Like I said in the PM (see OP) the guy made an alt at one of our member's hearth fire (hence why I could find no scents I presume, since only unclaimed land was touched) so I don't know how much "describe to" would help, having not used it before.

The only thing of value I lost was a Q56 bear tooth talisman (given to me by a friend) which I had stupidly kept in a cupboard not on my claimed land. Everything else was easily replaceable that I lost.

describe copys a kin/memorized to another person's kinlist (in the state of a memorized person)
if the second person already know him/her, he is informed like "you know him as XY"
it was just an idea to totally check the deephold-membership as the ls (or probably any other member) should know everyone there
