"Russians rule!" ..Yeah

Postby sondreen » Wed Jul 21, 2010 8:36 am

I've been owned..apparently.
I woke up this morning expecting nothing but butterflies and rainbows, but OH BEHOLD, I log in to find a shitload of construction signs blocking the entrance to my house.
I sigh, because when I look away from those I notice that all the nearby rocks have been turned into runestones, the fences have been torn down and all my cupboards have been thrown all over the place, empty. All these runestones consisted of the same information, mostly "Luna was here", "Jesus Christ was here", "Russians Rule" and "Fuck Nordfonn" (My character's name)
Hi Jesus, nice reverse-santa you pulled on me here.
Also, when I went inside I found all nine or so cupboards gone and three runestones placed in the middle of the room asking if I had what it takes to survive and that they had hid all my storage in the forest. Needless to say, I didn't find a single thing "in the forest", might be why I'm so annoyed.
I understand that there's really not much I can do except whine and such, but seriously, why do you do shit like this only to annoy people?
I'm pretty new and I even specified that I'm friendly in surrounding runestones, now I can't even track these guys down :/

But do you know what annoys me the most about this?
It's that I was merely half an hour of work away from finishing my palisade, which probably would've kept these bastards away.

Where do I go from here, the entire claimed area has been messed up, should I just start over?

if you got claim over where they moved crap around, get a guy to range for you and murder them in revenge then. See if they like it when someone comes knocking =)

Else you probably should move if your neighbors are that much of an arse, or just build wall and try to slavage what you can... but they probably wont leave you alone

Move inland, find a well. Settlements on rivers tend to attract attention

The initial cornerpost was almost done, the following parts just require blocks of wood, so to say, I was almost done with the palisade. :>

If you claimed your house and stuff you will at least be able to find 'scents' that will lead you to who did it, you may even be able to find someone willing to kill the person, since there's relatively little going on in the land of big mischief and I'm sure many people are bored.

Oh, I forgot, there was a runestone which said "Russians rule", then one more saying "Fuck *my name*"

Apparently the guy I used to live with checked my place, unfortunately I hadn't covered the entire claim, so there were no scents :/

If i were to walk into your house and
put a runestone there saying

'Jorb was here'

does that mean Jorb actually was there?

Nicely done, you almost had a haiku. Here you go--

If I walk into
your house and put a runestone:
'Jorb was here.' Was he?
