Jump into a boat and cruise down river till you spot a Moth fluttering about. Get out and toggle on Sprint and right-click the Moth. Your Hearthling will run for it and catch it. Look at it in your Inventory to see what sex it is. Just keep repeating this till you have a mating pair. Go through the steps of their life cycle and you'll end up with about 5 - 10 Eggs.
