Looking for a mine

Hello,
I am looking for an abandoned mine in the Constantnople or Brodgar area or a newly opened mine in one of the new supergrids. I am willing to move if needed. I have a village that is tired of having no access to metals. It severely limits what we can do besides farming. Please assist me. We are new players looking to explore the higher end part of the game.

You are less likely to find mines around the central part of the world. It is best for you to try to head towards the fringe of the world. I found all metals (except gold) while exploring the south-end.
