I've been told gold is more valuable then Silver. Am I wrong? Anyhow, I am assuming anyone with a gold mine probably doesn't make low Q gold.

im not trading low Q clay for high Q clay. Im offering lower Q clay to somone who might have lower Q than me and Im trying to get higher Q for myself.

Yeah it does. My silver says Q35 on it. Wether that affects anything or not. I don't know.
