Well the industry character won't be shooting anything but a wall with a pickaxe

The main character is at 50 right now, and the only reason it isn't 100 is because I had to switch to levelling carpentry to get my cheese up before the update. Also I was levelling melee to find out if i could do anything worthwhile with this q40 something bronze sword. The indy's only purpose is to mine and the few other things that industry matters for. Really it was to produce wrought from the cast I was trading for.
Wip already told me in the irc that I probably wouldn't get a ninety, and honestly that was just hopes and dreams. I would settle for much lower. He and a few others tried to convince me as well that I might as well use a sling instead of settling for anything under a q80 ranger's bow, but I really don't see why that is. Are they even slower than the normal bow? I was simply interested in one-shotting all these annoying animals that won't quit running. According to another thread I read the rb has 300 base damage, so that's 600 even at forty right? Not a one shot on a bear of course but still that'll do most boars in and I need to nab some good intestines badly to increase my rennet quality (my whole supply for cheese making came from back when my m m was lower and bears wouldn't run from me, and I threw out most of that since at the time the meat and bones were more valuable to me).
But I figured that a q90 bow wouldn't be shat to some people out there, people who'd trade one of their old bows to avoid a bunch of boring foraging they could have a noob do instead. I can see how its all capped by the trees involved (mullberry and whatever you use for the branches) but I figured there were people out there who probably had already gotten over that hump and wouldn't consider such a bow to be worth much.
So is it true they're worthless? If so I guess I'd be willing to trade for a high q sling - how likely am I to find that? My sling shooting is already pretty quick at 50 m m and I could run it up to 100 with twenty or thirty herds I guess. That wouldn't take too long. Supposedly I can hit running targets then according to another guy in the irc. Problem being to get my own sling quality up i have to level farming even more (useless to me since as far as I can tell fodder quality doesn't mean shit to the animals, all it changes is the "food eaten" quality on their info sheet that I can see) and my survival as well. What is a "good" quality sling. What do I need to one-shot level X boars? What do I need to one-shot level x bears?
BTW; what is considered a good quality tree by you vets out there? I'm almost thinking I should have tried to specialize in tree farming.

EDIT: Sabinati unless you've got a system of guidance satellites for the nukes its not too much good to me now that havenmap.tk is down

Maybe you have a suitcase version, or something I can fit in a cart slot?
