At this point in the game no one is offering what it takes to find pearls. I'm starting to think 1:1 on gold nuggets isn't such a bad deal. Maybe free crafting at some level for bulk trades.I've yet to see anyone make an offer I'd reasonably accept at any point in the game if i found one.

They're just way too fucking rare.

I'd say that quality lumber is more valuable than gold to a relatively new village. Good anvil and hammer will get you a lot more mileage than a merchant ring. That, and good curding tubs can get you a LOT more FEPs than stuff made from q20 logs, and I don't think I need to explain the benefits of a good herbalist table.

Maybe you bought some but I personally couldn't imagine selling a pearl for anything less than 10 times the value of everything you've stated at least.

Pearls are the trading equivalent of gold (with quality) for those who don't have time/patience to look for a gold mine and would rather fight percentages.

However I'll stop this off-topic here.

I believe many people are interested in pearls, perhaps you'll get lucky and purchase some, I've waited over 2 weeks and have only got hits for 3 pearls.
