Buying Wall-Grade Wrought Iron

Postby rye130 » Thu Jul 29, 2010 5:43 am

I'm looking to buy 25 wrought iron bars.

What I have to offer:

Sausages (of any kind around except Bierwurst and Wonderful Wilderness Wurst) of around q50 (anything requiring beef, mutton, rabbit or chicken won't be that high).

Baked goods of around q50 (carrot cake is the easiest for me to do but other types can possibly be done aswell)

q46 cheese curd (don't feel like starting up a bulk cheese production and waiting for a few weeks to get you your cheese, but if you for whatever reason need curd for your own production, I have it)

Cave bulbs, chantrelles, or any other types of foragables

Q45 water, q53 clay, or q37 soil

Please PM me with your offers, all trades with take place in either Constantinople, or your village through me breaking an alts hearthfire.

Only 25 wrought iron? The initial cornerpost is like 10 iron. If you're trying to make a square with your wall (which I am assuming you are), you will need like 30 bars at a minimum, plus 5 steel bars for the gate (which I can't remember if you need wrought for or not).

If you're not building a gate, three cornerposts is enough.

How so? The area I will be brickwalling is a perfect square, which are quadrilaterals - so 4 corners, 4 cornerposts, 10 for the first 1, 5 each for the other 3

You don't need to build an actual cornerpost in the final corner, just finish it off with wall section.
