the idea is to have only one character per account and that it memorizes your ip adress so you cant log on another account and alt vault with it. This would make it so in a large village you wouldnt be able to just give your mains key to your alt and steal steal steal with your alt then run and put it all in a palisade or brickwall vault and then once the scent dissapears simply give all the items to your main character and your village wouldnt know it was you, youd have no scents and theyd just think ohhh i guess someone must have hacked and got through the walls without a key.

There should be consequences to your actions but with alts you can steal from your friends and they would never ever be able to know it was you. I personally find this wrong and gamebreaking.

Having one character per account makes it so your character is worth more to you instead of having 10 different characters all used for a different thing like mining/farming whatever. Currently there is no need for setting up village roles of who will have industry and mine or who will have nature and farm. The game is already set as a jack of all trades with restrictions being belief sliders but at the moment all that does is make it so you have to make a few extra alts that bypasses the belief system.

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

No alts are fine. The solution is allowing items to be stolen from a characters hearthfire (maybe make having scents a requirement).

Alts are fine? Can you expand on this?, there is alot of pros and cons to having alts but in this game alts just break the rules of of belief sliders +thief alts+full tradition pvp alts+farming alts+mining alts, actually its starting to resemble a 2d world of warcraft with the tradition pvp alts being the 19 twinks who are made to kill people in full change with minimal losses to themselves which is also gamebreaking. Mining alts with full industry which just kills the need of having any of the villagers having any sort of role in helping you when you can just do it all right?

you know sometimes multiple people that live in the same house play this game, that would make it impossible for them to play.

and it still sucks

i thought i deleted that post 20 min after making it because it was in a necroed thread and when i found out i removed it. Your probably the only one who saw that post yesterday. Also i thought it out and added to the idea

Anyone who thinks easily bypassed restrictions for IPs or otherwise is retarded. They might as well let us logon the same account multpile times at a time, which loftar admitted to wanting to do, and I believe it's a good idea. Furthermore we should be allowed multiple accounts per email addy imo.
