Some of my ideas

Hello there, i would like to hear what you think about few of my ideas:

1. Colored Clothes
In the forest should grow herbs, that will allow player to dye clothes/materials after some technological process.

2. Race
There should be 4 Tribes, one for each world side(East,West,North,South) with different skin color(yellow,light bronze,white,black). Each tribe should have access to another Special Items and some boost in different abilities. Example:

East Tribe:
Boosted Abilities-Farming,Carpentry,Sewing
Special Items:Boosted Farmer Hat,Katana,Advenced Herbalist Table,Plantation of silkworm

3. Hearth Gate
A gate that can be build only in big village, allowing people to travel between other gate.

4.Remelting
If you have iron item or tool, you should be able to remelt this, and receive 25%/50% of iron from product.

5.Job
The player, after meeting certain requirements, should be able to select "Job"."Job" will give player title, like "Hunter", and some ability boost.

6.Wanted!
Hearthlands isn't peacefull world. There are thiefs and murderers. And, there should be possibility to build "Wanted Board", with names and prize for every villain.

7.Pioson
Someone robbed your field? Someone destroyed the effect of your hard work? Poison him! In forest should be poisonous herbs, you can add to foods without any apparent effect. Well, there should be new ability that will allow You to sense danger.

1: It's a nice idea for a later update, but there are more serious gameplay issues to be adressed in my opinion

2: No, I don't like it. Let's not invite racism here too. Also, the bonuses are simply weird... If you want a good farmer, work on it, or a good hunter, the same. Dont be good at it just because of your skin

3: Sounds like crossroads to me

4: I dont have a metal mine (dont be fooled by my join date) and trade for it. Usually I get metal items that a village doesnt want anymore. If they could re-melt them, i'd have a much harder time trading for them

5: Definately no ability boost. That way people who meet many requirements can just shift around for whatever job they do now. People give themself "titles" already, and eachother

6: We got the biggest "wanted" board right here. The problem is usually finding out the name of the criminal

7: Poison sounds like fun. Poisoned arrows dealing less damage but draining health etc, leaving poisoned food around... Not that its the food I am worried about when i get robbed. Traps to catch whoever tries to steal would be more useful

I would love a hearth gate and the ability to melt metal tools back into bars...

Nope, Hearth Gate would allow us to travel from one village to another.

like crossroads, except the village doesnt need to give you a sign to stick to your post, and its not limited to just a couple of destinations

I actually sort of like his hearth gate idea. Larger than usual gate that could tie in (somehow) with either maps or milestones, to work like a crossroad for wagoners.
