why dont you delete the option to create alts. People are abusing it and it takes all the danger and risk out of the game. You have those camps who create like 30 alts to have lots of bread, which looks worse than people cutting all trees for lp grinding. And it contradicts with the hardness you want to create. Just give the option to make a new character when you die, that would make the game more clean. And it would make it actually challanging to mine a rock.

You wanna start something? What gives you the right to be a smartass. Do you only post negative comments to people? Or do you write usefull ones to? Sorry for reacting like that but i just can't stand people who're always trying to be smart/funny in a negative way.

Not sure banning alts would solve this problem since people can make more than one account. Also bread gives no FEP so isn't really very useful to spam alts to get it.

Food, Torches, and whatever junk you can get from an alt are all worthless tools anyway. You can eat all the bread in the world and it won't do a thing to help you.
Given how easy food is to acquire (useful food even) this is a non-issue.
At most, alts provide these services: keyvaults, valuable item storage, opposed skills to the main (Nature/Industry), and a way to steal items without being caught (Assuming you use the item right away and don't leave something with a theft scent lying around). None of these things are major issues and moreso fill in gaps of having additional player labor. A hermit cannot mine and farm successfully without an alt, for example.

Thats why its so dumb that they create lots and lots of alts for useless bread, making the beginning of the game to easy because of the food. But thats not the main problem. The main problem is that you get lots of hearthfires which makes the world ugly. And it takes away the difficulty and risk jorb is trying to create. You can make hunter alts mining alts etc. But then whats the point in cave-ins and boars out to kill you when they just make another alt to do it for them. I take jorb wants to make as much as a realistic game as possible but as you might know, you can't make clones of yourself to do different stuff in real life. And he could put a cap on the accounts per e-mail, which is probably not even that necessary because when you can't make alts on one account, i think most people will just give up instead of making 50 different accounts.
