Why is the community so rude?

Postby georgeman » Sun Apr 17, 2011 8:50 pm

I would love to know why the Community is rude here? I have seen many people on many threads being rude, I thought this was a Nice place to be, I may be snobby but if someone genuine asks for help you don't just tell them to 'deal with it'.

If you're talking about the "Log fell on my house" question (you are), then "Deal with it" is the absolute correct response.

Learn more about the game and its mechanics before you go assuming people are being rude.

(Also, it should be noted that the OP of that thread, did in fact "Deal with it")

I've never gotten a rude response from anyone on the forum, in fact only helpful. Most people, I would imagine, that have been around since world 1 are probably just tired of answering the same questions when all you have to do is go to the wiki or use the search function.

EDIT: If you want to see a real rude community go to a DotA or League or Legends forums. :?

You'll run in to some rudeness no matter what. A lot of rudeness if you are an idiot and ask questions that are easy to find the answers for.

The world of hh is a harsh and punishing one. If you can't take a little forum heat you'll stand no chance against in-game situations and you'll quit anyway.

a man need only strike another to make him evil."

If you think we're being rude, you wouldn't last a week in the game.

H&H isn't for pussies.
