Dude just shut up with your fucking decay system, nobody except you despises good gameplay and likes tedium.

...also what loftar just said.

Only an idea dude... calm down.

loftar wrote:I'd argue that just means that Potjeh is a better player than you are, and that it also means that the FEP system is working entirely as intended. The FEP system is good as a game mechanic precisely because it allows better players to figure out the better strategies in playing it.

So are the problems mentioned about the FEP system in the OP not actually problems, but are intentional if it's 'good as a game mechanic'?
If so this thread is pointless and should be sent to Hel.

I think that was pretty much what I wrote in my reply on the first page, yes. :)

I would be hard pressed to see how that is the logical conclusion. This thread has (mostly) been a discussion about an idea. Just because the conclusions came out against it doesn't make it pointless.

Maybe the reason for that is because it WAS one of the only FEW ideas?

There is no point because you pretty much said you like it the way it is and the effects it comes out with.
So what else is there to discuss?

But I guess sending it to Hel would be a bit harsh.

That doesn't mean that an appeal to reason and good arguments to the contrary wouldn't persuade me otherwise, obviously.

FEP system is a pointless grind.

You're not being paid by the month for subscriptions so why subject players to it?

Its not a game mechanic that makes the game more interesting or complex, it just makes it tedious.

Another "if you do not have 20 hours a day to waste on this game do not play it you will not be viable please get out" mechanic.

Why is tedium considered an interesting game mechanic that improves the enjoyability of playing the video game?

Video games are to have fun, right? What's fun about micromanaging every single piece of food you eat?

Said the guy who is against everything.

Seriously, if you hate this game so much just go play something else.

There's no reason to bring up an issue about the game if it doesn't exist.

You're making a false leap in logic.

Wurm has a better model of how food consumption should work.
