Depends how wimpy the teams are, when Buyan attacked Xanadu they actually logged in to counter attack. Would people of Sodom all log-out if AD had a large force breaking down their walls? and vice-versa

I didn't mean to imply he favored Sodom, I meant it more in terms of helping the underdogs in H&H because if anything is too one sided it wouldn't be much fun now would it?

And I did say that it was just a thought, not a fact.

The problem is an attacker is always prepared and can gather his whole force at a set time. The defender however will usually just be following his daily routine. Meaning most people probably won't even be logged in at the point of an attack, others are not equipped or prepared for battle. I have been in such battles (mostly as an attacker in world 2) often enough to know what will happen. If those unprepared folks start to fight back they will usually get picked off one by one.

Edit: There are scenarios where fighting back might work. I once went to Xanadu to summon a murderer with gato alone in world 2. Four or more guys were online in their fort at that time, organizing quickly to repair the brickwall against us bashing it. At some point they must have panicked though I guess, which should never happen to a dedicated fighting force. They stopped reparing, some logged off, others didn't manage to do so in time. So gato and me were able to wreck their force and their place just being 2 guys vs 4 or 5.

(IMO) And that's why all of the new recruitment and equipping of the recruits. Cannon fodder is needed as a warning of an attack.

I can assure you we didn't recruit people to sacrifice them as cannon fodder. We do everything we can to protect them and get them ready to protect themselves asap. Also their were quite some veteran characters among our recruits.

For me the recruitment was a big project I kinda needed to get back the fun in H&H. Hadn't been playing for 2 months or more before. In general it just raises the productivity of Sodom quite a bit and you know what they say: The more, the merrier.

I understand completely the need for the projects like you have undertaken. I was simply thinking out loud as to the reason's behind it other than "just fun" because as we all know the history of H&H world 3 is going to be written by the victors.

Good luck too.

Your angle doesn't seem to be working, try tossing a golden apple between Sodom and AD instead.

The attack dogs are all on a leash from both sides right now. Nothing will work, I was just pondering out loud because the forums have been a bit boring lately.

I can assure you that I barely even follow ingame politics these days. :)
