dear, the problem not is the players who use bot, the problem is the abuse of bots to get over9000 char, and never found funny things in the game, is funny kill 1 noob in the hearthland with your 800+ uc char? or go with your 5-6 friends with the same stats for kill a guy inside of palisade? ... pleaseeeee

Well, probably not for you.

Actually it's not embarassing at all, considering nearly everyone who plays the game who are apart of factions or who like to fight bot curios to study them while at school, etc. It gives you time to do things where you don't have time so you can do what you want in the game. I don't see how it's a problem at all really.

I do not use these "all mighty bots" to destroy and encourage noobs to rage quit because ohnoe big baddie has rek'd entire village!
I track those who do wrong to me and others, etc and fight enemy factions. Yes, sometimes noobs get killed or w/e but I don't like it when someone in our alliance smacks a noob along side the river

Imagine this: A small village is founded right now, everything fresh and new. The group is about 7 people. These people craft and collect all their curios manually, since they like the progression the game gives and the joy of exploring and finding a good curio. They get maybe 2 pearls on a good day that they spend on getting better and progressing, hoping one day to be a big faction in the game and do cool stuffs.

Now imagine a big scary player who never logs on. He is anmember of a large village that dont really log or talk much. Every day before work or school he turns his alt bots on the craft and collect curios and food and pearls for him. He gets about 7 pearls a day with his bots, and is progressing 10x faster than anyone in that hopeful little village I was just talking about, yet he never ldoes kuch more than curb stomp someone every once and awile. Even this guy isnt dedicated very much, and only plays to be the best around by any means, he will always have better stats and be a better player than that small little active village I kentioned.

Werenis the progression, or the fairness there? How can these hopefuls ever hope to catch up to someone like this? They cant, because botting breaks the progressiin in this game. The weak stay behind while the botters speed ahead, and the system is broken.

i bot, but i like play (and make bots) but im not abusing of that 24/7 ...
also, in 24 hours you can get between 30 & 40 pearls.

But that doesn't mean it has to be lucrative, feel required, or crush the worldwide economy. It can be rendered close to pointless, or at least so that it's not a huge advantage over regular manpower, which is what they tried to accomplish in Salem. I don't know if they succeeded there because I never played, but that sort of action is what Haven needs.

You're not listening.

You can bot mining in World of Warcraft, but your bot will be killed often by other miners, and a human can do the work much faster than a computer.

In oldschool Runescape, you can bot mining, but a human can do it just the same with minimal effort put in, so it's almost pointless to bot unless you're totally AFK.

In Haven, botters get 30-40 pearls a day and humans cannot match that without ridiculous time investment, where you have to click on tiny objects and pay attention 24/7, so botting is vastly supreme.
