A new, fresh map is generated, and your characters are deleted.
But don't expect a new world, you'll be disappointed. It'll come when you would never expect it.

I've been playing for a very short amount of time, and still am reading the wiki and forums on almost every topic, but the detail and magnificence of the world jorb and loftar have created argue strongly against either of them sending such a message with unbalanced exclamation points.
So despite sharing part of a name with this poster, I must cast my vote for him pulling our feathers. Also, if they were going to do a new world, I expect they would like to announce it themselves.
