All the men in my family are cooks and my sister won't touch the kitchen at all though my mother likes to bake but not cook. I learned quite early that if you want good food you have to make it yourself or have a fuckton of money to pay someone else.

There are boxes that make it really easy to trick people into thinking you know. :D (Actually, I really despise pre-mixed food products.)

Eh. I'm more of a experiment on the fly kind of guy than a recipe follower. My dad also did most of the cooking when I was little.
