would you kindly name that former village then? because i am calling you out as a liar.

as for anyone else whining here.
start marching over then. your threats go right over my head.
your not as strong as your word, only as your army. so give us the army.

And by army, i am assuming you have your own empire of villages as well.
Not the usual raid group of half a dozen high skilled players, or even your 3 village alliance. yawn

Our final answer to anyone that wants to sling the mud, is to stfu and pack the boat for a war party.
We arent going to be intimated by active forum users that think they succeeded in the game when they built a village idol.
the end game is in empires. you better catch up. because this 1on1 village crap isn't how the big politics play out.

Here is my view point on this, i quite frankly find this insulting. My village has been around much longer then these guys have been playing and i know there are other active villages in the area that are as well. So for these guys to tell us we have to ether give up are independence, leave, or be wiped out is, quite frankly bullshit as the only good words about them i seen so far appear to be form a noob village and not as established on as many of those (including us) that have have mines and friends and are in no need of being givin "resources" or anything these guys can offer that they most likely already have or can get by themselves. There method of gaming is fine as long as they do not force your self on other as your way is in no way "the way the game is played" as if that were the case i doubt you see so many people pissed off players. So here is my stand on you announcement, Ravenholm will stay independent and will not be bothered as we have no wishes to move or join any faction we are a free people and will do what we want with are land and be friends with who we want this is the style we play and i know my whole village backs me on this. With that said i wish you the best of luck as you seem to be pissing off people that can backup what they say there going to do to you if you crose the line and threaten there friends they have here in the northeast you will find a most like quick end to your so called Empire.

Yours truly
Fenris De Phantasim
Currant Chieftain of Ravenholm
My friends are those who stand beside me, My enemies are those who stand against me, Those in between are innocent
I swear to protect my friends and the innocent from my enemies
So my question is Who Are You?

are you not forcing yourself on other players on any other internet game when you run up in open pvp and kill someone?
just because the game mechanics here are much different, dont mean the spirit should change.

i think you are all a little to comfortable and fearful to be playing a game like this.

@ TOH:

There are villages in, or near your SG, that have been there long before your village, or at least, long before you stated your policy of assimilation.
I do want to point out to you, as Juhubert also did, that some of those villages just *might* have allies / trade partners in other supergrids, that will either assist said allies, when you try to assimilate them, or interfere on behalf of their trade interests.

To be more precise, there are some villages over there, that are our allies / friends. They happen to share the view of 'freedom is worth more than gold', as Potjeh already put so nicely, and have no need for your 'benefits', as they either already have their own rescources, and/or have their trade networks that can supply them with the goods they need.
While I'm not judging your style of play, as this is a sandbox game, I would like to warn you, that any attempt to assimilate those villages (that I will not name, for drama's sake :D ) could very well result in aggressive interference on our part.

@ katchemash:

While I do favour your incentive of establishing a village in response to political developments in TOH supergrid, I strongly disagree with your statement of 'destroying every village in the supergrid' in case of TOH agression. There are (a lot?) of villages out there, that have not been assimilated, or even approached by TOH. Destroying those villages of people that have absolutely nothing to do with this conflict, would be very close to griefing, and would make you a worse offender than TOH, in my opinion.

A perfect demonstration of your lack of experience. One man is perfectly able to take down a whole army of your 50 melee warriors. Doesn't matter if there are a dozen or a hundred of them. Would like to see a big army on the battlefield for a change though.

Careful now Burg, his "army" of 50 melee 20 str warriors might be able to just chip through your armor.

We all just need to wait for him to try to assimilate the wrong village, then his entire empire will be wiped out. He talks a big game, but if half the people in this thread were to gear up and go on the move on his empire, it's not like he could stop them.

Seriously, one guy with 600 melee can wipe out an endless stream of people with 100 melee.

Well a big factor is how well each side is equipped. Let's say there is a single Bottleneck there with a total deflect of 800 (the soak number that does not damage armor). Now it does not matter how many cyberman TOH sends. If their damage does not exceed 800, there is no way they can be able do any damage no matter his defense is. However, if TOH has a Doctor...

Five Million Cybermen, no problem. One Doctor? Now you're scared.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

If he also has high UA, they'll never deplete his defence as long as he stays in Oak Stance.
