Why is the FEP system in place? To promote some frivolous claim of trade? Its a grind, nothing but.

Why must you take a good concept, foundation, and existing mechanics, and ruin it for all but a tiny fraction of the possible playerbase?

There's no reason for the current FEP system other than to promote huge diversified food consumption on grand scales.
