I handle databases and dabble in 3d modeling, and have worked on a few "actual games". Also, I did look it up. The change log is awesome.

It's mostly fixing bugs it introduced. Things that work on the official server software, or adding simple new things. Again, it has nothing to do with any protocols, any actual content, or any art assets. It's just some group of people adding what are essentially server-supported hacks. It's not the same thing.

This is the first time you've actually mentioned the name, or I would have already.

You posted about it on the minecraft forums as being open only two days ago. In the introductory post you asked for donations. You claim it has a bunch of awesome commands, but give no examples. Since the introduction post was made, only one person showed any interest in joining, and he decided he couldn't use it on a mac. The website for the server consists of a single forum with two users and one post.

I'm going to stick to my assumption that you're one of the thousands of people who think tossing some software onto the internet makes you a successful server adminstrator, as it was pretty much as accurate as it could be.

The point to begin with, before you drug it out over how awesome your server was, and that because you're an op on it, that makes you the supreme god of video game development, was that the "gms" do not do much moderation. They leave that in the hands of people like Sabinati, Jackard, and Burgingham. They are not held to any specific standards, and are simply given powers because they are active and trustworthy community members who are likely to see stupid posts, posts out of place, or various spam, trolls, or bots, and be able to remove them. They're not required to be nice.


As for animal murder in general... Log out when you get attacked. Combat is broken after they knock you out and reinitiated when they decide to murder you. If you log out when they're charging at you, your character will vanish from the world as soon as it is knocked down and will not be able to be murdered. Even bears, to a naked alt I made to lure them, only do 9 HHP of damage. Log out and you'll never die to a bear again.
