So I'm lacking the skill or motivation to write anything bigger than I usual do. And a general lack of social skills/motivation when it comes to writing/communication.

To me you seem to be doing the exact same thing with my resent (negative) comments. Only in your case it seems to be (personal) motivated because it happened in a topic of yours. (...?...)

In my case I just express my opinion(s) on a idea. (in my own way, based on how I interpreted that what was written.)
If you don't like my way of writing. (you is general, and includes other users if they like.)
- Ignore it/them. (The smarter users do.)
- Correct those things you see as clearly wrong. Or based on wrong facts/data/whatever.
- Ask ... whatever it is you like me to clear up.
- Add additional context to the idea. (if you think I/someone misinterpreted it, and are interested in clearing that up.)
